What Opportunity Awaits?
Libro has an opening for a passionately accountable Treasury Analyst Level 2.

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the analysis, interpretation, reporting, and forecasting of the financial impact of interest rate risk through monthly modelling and reporting.

The Treasury Analyst Level 2 supports corporate treasury administration and the provision of treasury services support to the branch network - Could you be Libro?

**This position is eligible for flexible work arrangements including a combination of remote and in-office work.


The Epic Human we are looking for will:

Maintain the monthly modeling and analytical process to quantify risk on the balance sheet using internal and third party vendor models.

Prepare monthly reporting to Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO), and the Board as required;
Research, recommend, and implement investment and derivative hedging strategies. Suggest opportunities to take advantage of market conditions through trading execution;
Research the implications of proposed business decisions related to product development, campaign pricing, or hedging transactions;
Develop stress testing and scenarios to identify potential risks to assist with various functions;
Propose and administer internal product pricing sheets.

Maintain and report on Libro's liquidity requirements along with identifying potential concerns that may affect the liquidity needs over the short and longer term;
Prepare forecasts for the annual management liquidity plan as part of the budget cycle.

Manage wholesale pricing for Owners and early redemptions on fixed products; manage foreign exchange position. Monitor market and credit risks of transaction settlements and recommend appropriate actions within the treasury team.

Maintain the whole foreign exchange rate exposure and currency risk management. Primary contact for wholesale trading decisions within exposure limits based on trends and market conditions;

Provide expert advice to branch staff regarding forward currency contracts, execute trades and coordinate with Credit depart to secure account approvals and contract collateral.

Qualifications, Certifications or Designations

A University Degree in Business, Finance or Economics; required to have enrolled in a professional designation program [CFA, CPA];
Minimum of 4-6 years' experience or strong knowledge of the financial services industry is required; treasury experience is an asset;
Requires sound understanding of financial market instruments, including money market, derivative products, retail banking products.

Excellent skills in the areas of critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving with the ability to work independently;
Ability to exercise excellent professional judgment, employ initiative, tact, and discretion with a strong understanding of the financial services environment;
