JLL is seeking a dynamic individual to provide preventive and corrective maintenance at Metropolis at Metrotown on building equipment as well as general maintenance on interior and exterior of common areas


Other responsibilities include:
Responding to a variety of tenant requests
Working with external contractors and building management
Complete preventative maintenance tasks & regular building systems checks
Responsible for corrective maintenance on building equipment and related systems
General maintenance tasks, such as drywalling, tiling, painting and repairing doors, as required
Assisting Marketing and Specialty Leasing departments with set-up and takedown of their promotions, carts and kiosks
This role is unionized with a 35 hour work week.

In addition to the base salary, there is an annual target bonus, overtime rate for hours above 35 hours per week and a premium paid for on-call.


KEY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Grade 12 diploma
Must be available to work evening and weekends


Proficiency in the following trades is desired: painting, door/lock repairs, drywall, minor plumbing, basic electrical work, and lamp changes
A minimum of 3 years of experience preferably related to a commercial building environment
Basic computer knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel and Word) are assets
Other requirements such as interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to resolve problems independently and carry out duties under mínimal supervision is essential
Must have a valid B.C. driver's licence
