Job Description:
About the Role:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordination of the maintenance work performed within the facility.
You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Managing the Preventative Maintenance tasks in the system to ensure completion and appropriately allocating labour and deadlines based on the criticality of the task.
- Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and safety environment in the workplace.
- Understanding equipment and maintenance problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending appropriate actions that are documented and assigned as needed.
- Supporting maintenance through troubleshooting issues, development of daily schedules, allocating labour, and adjusting as needed based on resources.
- Order and maintain parts and supplies inventory. Ensure correct parts and consumables are procured for job plans and are matched with CMMS availability requirements in the schedule.
Important Details:
This is a full-time on-site role supporting plant maintenance planning needs, schedule flexing may be required, but the role is predominantly day shift.
About You:
You will fit right in if you have:
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant technical area.
- Demonstrated maintenance planning experience, in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong SAP and Computerized Maintenance Management System skills.
- Strong organizational and communications skills with the ability to multitask.
