Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system's databases.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our ERP databases to support the organization's operations and strategic objectives.

Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maximize system efficiency.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement database upgrades, patches, and enhancements in alignment with business needs.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization assessments to anticipate and address future database requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to endusers and IT teams regarding ERP databaserelated issues.
Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
Participate in crossfunctional projects to implement new ERP modules, integrations, or customizations requiring database expertise.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates, gather requirements, and solicit feedback on databaserelated initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator, preferably with a focus on ERP systems.
Indepth knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and ERP platforms (e.g. IFS Cloud, Infor Syteline, Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with database security best practices and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
