Started in December, 2020, Sushi Azuki is a takeout-only Japanese restaurant. We quickly established ourselves as a premier sushi takeout establishment in the city of Hamilton.We're eager to expand our team and hire our next
cashier/kitchen assistant to join our team as at our second location in the _Crown Point neighbourhood of Hamilton_.
While this is a minimum wage position,
if you have previous experience in working in a Japanese restaurant, we will consider higher pay for you.
Requirements:
- Able to stand for extended period of hours
- Able to lift at least 15 kg/40 lbs
- Super preferred if you have conversational skills in the Korean language, but not required
- Able to manage many customers' orders at the same time.
- Take in customers orders made inperson, by phone, or through our online ordering platform (Square).
- Organize order intake schedules to prevent overwhelming our sushi chefs and to prevent delay in serving our customers' orders.
- Quality assurance check to ensure all customers' orders were prepared and served with 100% accuracy
- Answering menurelated questions from customers (we will teach you about our menu items)
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Assist chefs as required, especially during peak hours
- Other duties as requested

From $15.50 per hour
