Roles and Responsibilities:

-
User Support:

Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems for end-users either remotely or in person.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and IT equipment.

Help Desk Assistance:

Log, track, and escalate issues as needed.

Network and Security:

Assist with network connectivity and access issues.

Implement and maintain security protocols, including antivirus updates and user access management.


Qualifications:


  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred, but some positions may accept relevant certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications can enhance qualifications, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or

Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Understanding of security practices and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and remain patient and professional when dealing with enduser issues.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, document solutions, and update IT documentation.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with instructors, Students and staff.

Salary:
$42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
