As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as the Physical Exercise Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a very highly motivated and professional clientele who are eager to return to duty and improve their condition.
Daily, you will lead reconditioning programs for Canadian Armed Forces members who may be affected with a medical conditions and improve their functional abilities related to their physical limitations.
Much like the military we so proudly support, we push the envelope of what's possible.Working with us, you'll have the opportunity to deliver programs and services in collaboration with a highly professional team of health services practitioners.
Other stakeholders will be at your disposal to ensure a client's successful return to duty.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Human Kinetics, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences or in a related field
Current Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Current National Lifeguard Service Certificate (NLS) qualification
Experience
In developing, implementing and delivering physical fitness programs
In preparing and conducting physical fitness training sessions
In communications for professional and public audiences
In the delivery of adult education and facilitation of workshops
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership
