About the opportunity


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Project Manager to support our Industrial and Infrastructure division at our office in
Burlington.

We are looking for someone with a combination of technical skills and passion, to support and lead various structural projects while maintaining our high standard of quality.

About the role

  • Serve as project manager and account lead on a variety of assignments across the Industrial sector.
  • Manage and drive design teams, including coordination with other engineering disciplines and vendors.
  • Maintain accountability with respect to project timeframes, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Significantly contribute to the overall project success by providing a high level of technical expertise, active involvement, and a demonstration of commitment to client focus.
  • Assist with preparation and management of engineering proposals.
About you

Our attributes and accomplishments will include:

  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree and registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration in other provinces or states an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years' proven design engineering combined project management experience with an engineering consulting firm or other large organization.
  • Experience with Equipment Layouts and Piping Design. High level of expertise with Material Handling Systems such as conveyors, pneumatic conveying, mixing, size reduction, weighing, dust control, bin/hopper design.
  • A strong background in engineering technology for industrial projects particularly chemical, biotechnologies, manufacturing, consumer products, and food and beverage.
  • Experience in managing a project from study phase to construction
  • Experience in commissioning and start an asset.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project).
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
  • Eager to engage facetoface with clients, determine needs, and prepare proposals for services in conjunction with engineering team members and the Ausenco Commercial group.
  • Desire to become part of a dynamic an highly technical team providing ingenious and valueadded solutions to our customers.
  • Engaging interpersonal skills with a facility for working with a variety of group dynamic situations.
  • Successfully lead multiple projects simultaneously or a single project of a major size and scope
