The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Corporate Facilities, this role is responsible for effectively administering, supervising, and executing all day-to-day operations, quality assurance and staff supervision for the assigned corporate facilities.

This position oversees a group of non-unionized, full time and casual staff, and is responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling these staff.

As the Coordinator, Corporate Facilities, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

Coordinate and schedule building maintenance (Maintaining complex building automation systems for all facilities, maintain the Town's only gold LEED building (OPP) that uses Hydronic/ Geothermal systems)
Ensure all service requests are dealt within 24 hours or immediately depending on the severity.
Inspect and ensure building maintenance tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi, and annually) are completed to Town of Caledon and/or service industry/building standards.
Ensure staff and external contractors follow all required regulations and legislation and comply with applicable standards of work.
Plan, budget and supervise capital project while providing progress reports to the Supervisor, Corporate Facilities.
Maintain Town Wide Security: different security systems, card access, security gates, panic buttons/Epanic, special security clearances and requirements for OPP sites.
Supervise, recruit, train, and provide daily direction to maintenance staff
Coordinate work performed by Facility Associates and/or other assigned staff as required
Work closely with multiple contractors to schedule/maintain all facility HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and emergency systems.

This position offers a salary range of $79, $94,301.13 plus a competitive benefit package.
