In our clubs, our Maintenance Technician/Custodian plays a very important role.

We hold pride on our clean, aesthetically pleasing facilities for any visitor who walks in our doors, and our Maintenance Technician/Custodian helps deliver on that first impression.

Your typical workday will include keeping our club looking its very best, which also includes ensuring our equipment is fully functioning and working so our members are able to reach their fitness goals.

You will also help keep our facility looking unremarkably clean

The Role

Ensuring the club and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and timely manner. This includes performing repair and preventative maintenance of fitness equipment, pools, changerooms and so much more
Responsible for making sure our club is pristine and ready to welcome our members. You will use your cleaning skills to ensure everything from the bathrooms to the fitness equipment to the studios are sparkling clean
Maintain accurate records of all cleaning, repairs, maintenance and inspections carried out
Ensure the building is kept in good condition by making minor repairs and reporting any major issues to the management team
Ensuring safety is a top priority by removing any potential hazards, keeping emergency exits accessible and that safety equipment is functional and up to date

Qualifications

You are technically inclined. Any related trade school training is preferred and is an asset
You can perform indoor and outdoor working conditions yearround in various weather conditions, specific to location
You can complete repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling
You can lift medium to heavy objects
