Our Support Office team currently has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Team.

As the successful Accounts Payable Specialist you will share similar values as Schlegel Villages as well as have the skill set in processing invoices and issuing vendor payments for our Villages.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Accurately review and enter invoices for 19 locations in Ontario, on a timely basis
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Schlegel Villages policy and accepted accounting practices
- Respond to payment concerns with vendors and managers at our villages
- Process weekly cheque run
- Adaptable, flexible and efficient communication skills
- Assist with various accounting projects as needed
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in Accounts Payable and or general accounting is an asset
- Team player with solid interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong Organizational skills and time management
- Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance an asset
