The team:
The Marketing Operations Manager oversees end-to-end governance and optimization of marketing processes, collaboration platforms, workflows, and documentation.
The key areas of focus are:
- Empowering the Marketing team to collaborate and run more efficiently
- Ensuring adherence to processes and best practices
- General oversight and administration of systems supporting daytoday operations including Wrike, Confluence, and SharePoint
What your day will look like:
Process design and workflow improvement
Design and optimize technology/business processes and develop workflows that provide efficient collaboration within and between the Marketing teams, leveraging cross-team platforms, specifically Wrike (work management), Wiki (documentation), and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Assist the different Marketing teams to create and improve processes both within their group and across crossfunctional teams where appropriate, and support teams with development of their workflows and mapping of processes in Wrike and SharePoint
- Define documentation framework/structure & guide teams to document their processes in detail on the Wiki and test against expected outcomes
- Help build a culture of continuous improvement and process documentation for daytoday operational activities
- Develop reporting that will help groups measure success in implementation of new processes, etc.
- Maximize investment of tools by acting as a technical resource and supporting development and documentation of frameworks, blueprints, processes mapped back into platforms (Wrike and SharePoint)
- Define process for documenting on the Wiki and how it should be used in relation to other platforms such as SharePoint
- Ensure a regular cadence of Wiki updates
Training and onboarding
In collaboration with Internal Communications, formalize general onboarding program for new members of the Marketing team in relation to common platforms and processes, help define a regular cadence of training to refresh knowledge and introduce new features
- Collaborate with individual Marketing teams to provide guidance and oversight in the development of onboarding training and documentation for new Marketing team members
- Ensure champions are identified to assist with training within each team
- Formalize a process and workflow documentation including use of Wrike and the Wiki for training and onboarding resources
- Track user maturity and certifications on core Marketing platforms so that team members can reach out to colleagues who have that expertise
About you:
- Degree or certification in Project Management, Business Processes, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- You enjoy working with others, are able to establish and maintain working relationships
- Understand how to simplify and map processes to people and platforms
- Previous knowledge of task and project management platforms
- Knowledge of best practices in process documentation
- Excellent written & verbal communications; English and French proficiency
- Handson experience with any of these specific tools (or equivalent tools): Wrike, Wiki, and SharePoint
- Ability to prepare correspondence and reports
