Graphics (GFX) Diagnostics Co-op


Location:
Markham, Canada


HYBRID:


  • This is a hybrid role (remote & inoffice) as the hiring team will require the student to come to the LOCATION office _
- approximately 3-5_
- days a week. COVID-19 protocols are being strictly followed._

What

you'll

be doing

  • Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_
  • The design and verification of diagnostics test suites:
  • ASIC Qualification
  • ASIC and Board production test suites for both internal and external customers
  • Identifying and troubleshooting HW and SW problems
  • Analyzing fall out boards
  • Perform tuning activity on the suites
  • Support of customer issues, including investigation and debugging of diagnostics scripting and source code
  • Assist in ASIC bringup and support activities
  • Development and debug of automation tools/scripts to assist with the above

  • You will learn how to make the hardware scream with software:_
  • Knowledge and experience of modern software development in a real engineering environment
  • Systemlevel vision on the entire flow of software development and how to debug complex systems
  • Knowledge about industryleading Graphics and Machine Learning technologies
  • Project management and communication skills

Requirements:


  • Good knowledge and experience in software programming (C/C++, scripting)
  • Familiarity with PC architecture
  • Experience with software development and debugging in Linux
  • Source control systems (svn, git, Perforce, etc.)
  • Self leadership and independence, along with excellent communication skills
