Achieve sales targets and it is their responsibility to meet or exceed those targets.
Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients, ensuring that they are competitive and profitable for the company.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, changes, and developments, as well as competitors' activities.
In terms of skills, a salesperson in the trucking industry should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong negotiation and sales skills.
Knowledge of trucking regulations, logistics, and transportation is an advantage, as is proficiency in computer software such as CRM systems.
Salary:
$71,760.55-$135,924.63 per year
