SUMMARY

Technician III is responsible for operating the facility, conducting inspections, and performing maintenance on mechanical and other supporting systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, including environmental and safety standards.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshooting

• Provides insights on facility conditions and suggests improvements.

Maintenance

• Performs maintenance following established procedures.
• Conducts regular monitoring and inspections to maintain facility uptime.
• Responds to service requests promptly and conducts corrective maintenance.
• Operates facility systems and manages work orders efficiently.
• Assists in implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Client Relations

• Enhances tenant satisfaction and maintains positive relations.

Administration

• Participates in facility projects and ensures compliance with policies.
• Maintains tools, submits expenditures, and performs other assigned duties.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma with trades training/certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance processes.
• Strong environmental and safety focus.
• Client-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Effective communication skills.

Licenses & Accreditation

• Building Operator Certification or equivalent required.
• Provincial HVAC or apprentice license.
