Keller Developments is looking for dependable Drywall Installers to join our Drywall team.


Responsibilities

• Measures and cuts drywall panels to fit in and around specific spaces such as doors, windows, electrical outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Secures drywall to wood and metal studs while keeping screws at appropriate depths.
• Uses drywall compound to fill in and cover joints, screws, nails, and other imperfections.
• Sands joint compound and applies drywall tape
• Creates textured surfaces when requested.
• Maintains a clean and safe work site.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Able to read and interpret building plans.
• Able to measure and cut drywall to fit in specific places
• Excellent handeye coordination
• Able to work independently as well as working as part of a crew
• Able to take instruction and feedback from supervisors.
• Able to use hand tools and power tools required for installing drywall
• Ability to estimate quantity of materials required for a project is considered an asset
• Prolonged periods of standing, climbing ladders, bending and kneeling
• Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time, and move and lift drywall panels
• Class 5 drivers license required
