    Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Vice President of National Accounts – KNA

    PURPOSE: Develop, build, and expand the multi-brand National Accounts Program for Kärcher North America (KNA) across all Key Target Groups.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide the direction and leadership of the strategic and national accounts sales team to further the exposure and growth of the company.Meet or exceed the National Accounts Annual Operating Plan.Develop and train sales staff to successfully represent and sell multiple KNA Brands to national accounts within key target groups.Develop plans and execute strategies to target key national customers to aggressively grow revenue within each customer and target group.

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Indirect management and coordination with Regional Sales Directors and Geographic Account Managers in the field to help execute and support national account growth strategies.

    SUPERIVSION RECEIVED:

    Reports to the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for KNA.

    SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

    Direct Reports include National Account Directors and Strategic Account Managers.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

    Experience:

    Minimum ten (10) years of successful National Accounts Program Leadership, preferably in the Jan-San Industry.Demonstrated success in building, motivating, and leading a National Accounts Sales Team towards profitable and aggressive growth.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Strong leadership, strategic business planning, and strategic target account planning.Knowledge of the Jan-San Industry is a plus.

    Language Skills:

    Effective communication skills both oral and written; performs frequent presentations.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Works at a desk using the computer; sits the majority of the day.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Typical office environment; frequent travel in the US and potentially to Canada less frequently.
