Detailed Overview:
Responsible for collecting and distributing patient care items and equipment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and distribute various patient care items and equipment, including items requiring high-level disinfection/sterilization.
  • Order, receive, and unload Medical Device Reprocessing supplies.
  • Fill requisitions by assembling and delivering supplies.
  • Perform physical inventory counts, rotate stock, and check expiry dates.
  • Receive, unload, and store items from stores in appropriate locations.
  • Transport stock and materials to all areas of the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the assigned area.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
Grade 10 with six months of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate relevant equipment.
