The Molson Coors Toronto Brewery is looking for one enthusiastic aspiring leader to help support our production and optimization processes as a Quality Services Analyst that will be based in

-
Toronto. There is one position available and the contract would go until December 31, 2023.

Pay rate: $23.25/hr_
This role will be responsable to provide rapid and accurate analysis of beer at all stages of processing, finished goods and raw materials. Provide resource support to various Brewing, Packaging, Engineering, WCSC, Quality, Logistics and National Office initiatives.

Job Accountabilities:

Collection of samples, sample prep, analysis, and data entry to support production.
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and constantly improve the standard of housekeeping of the laboratory.
Liaison with material suppliers, internal and external customers
Provide resource support to related Plant/National initiatives
Troubleshooting / problem solving, data trending and analysis
Communication and escalation of analysed data to appropriate customer groups
Training and development of Dept./Plant Personnel in materials inspection, micro and chemical analysis
Conduct internal audits
Maintain a "customer focus" internally and externally
Active team member in a selfdirected work environment key role in scheduling, flow of work and task prioritization
Organizational Structure:
One of ten (10) positions reporting to the Manager Quality Services

1 Microbiology Analyst
-8 Quality Service Analysts
-1 Micro Project Support Analyst

Entrance Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, microbiology or equivalent from an accredited institution with lab experience.
Experience in food and/or beverage analysis
Strong troubleshooting skills regarding analytical instrumentation and detail oriented
Experience with the operation, calibration, and maintenance of analytical instruments, including but not limited to HPLC (UVVis), GC (ECD, FID), pH meters, spectrophotometers, etc
Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office suites
Must have excellent listening and written/verbal communication skills
Must be able to work rotating shifts (day, evening and night)
