The Department of Labour and Immigration is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals to fill a regular and several term Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Clerk (CL4) positions.

Qualifications:

Essential:


  • Postsecondary education in business administration or social sciences, with experience performing clerical and administrative duties, such as preparing specialized documents and processing detailed documentation and electronic file maintenance, in an office environment. An equivalent combination of education, training and extensive related experience may be considered.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience working with the public and providing customer service to a diverse clientele.
  • Work experience in, with, or related to, the Canadian Immigration Sector.
  • Effective verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to a broad range of internal and external clients.
  • Excellent written communication skills, to produce a variety of documents for various audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to make decisions using sound judgement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent programs.

Duties:


The MPNP Clerk will be responsible for the administration of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program including following administrative processes, communicating program requirements to the public and providing administrative support to various branches of the Immigration Pathways division.
