We are a fine dining restaurant located in the East Woodbridge.
At Deccan Gusto, we believe in providing our guests with a fine dining experience and expect our staff to be committed to the same purpose.
We are looking for highly motivated chefs for our location who are willing to strive for excellence just the way we do.
We serve Indian and Contienental food.By joining Deccan Gusto you have the chance to work and gain experience with a masterchef based from Visakhapatnam, India.
Do you have a passion in food? If yes, you belong on our familyDuties and responsibilities:
- Ability to prepare sauces and curries as required
- Must be able to prepare breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven)
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
- Estimate food requirements, garnishing and presentation of food and in new cooking techniques
- Plan menus, Ensure quality of food and portion control
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, and inventory
- While on duty keep the cooking area clean to make sure that the health and food safety standard are met
Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience as a Tandoor and/Curry Chef
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Must be willing to commute to our location
- Must be available to work fulltime
Job Types:

Salary:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour
