    As a District Manager, you play a key role in developing exceptional Store Managers, enhancing customer experiences, driving growth within Starbucks stores, and engaging with local communities. At Starbucks, we prioritize performance with a human touch. Your responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of stores, devising strategies, and ensuring their successful execution. You lead a team of leaders, fostering diverse teams that are well-versed in their markets, communities, and customers.
    Utilizing your previous retail leadership background, you will:
    • Grow a successful business portfolio: Develop district-level strategies tailored to each store's financial, operational, and customer service objectives, while addressing individual store strengths and challenges.
    • Lead a team of leaders: Inspire, mentor, and empower Store Managers as team leaders, retail professionals, and entrepreneurs.
    • Act as a valuable resource: Offer expertise on critical customer issues, team management and staffing, store operations, and company policies.
    Key qualifications we are looking for:
    • 5+ years of retail experience managing 2 or more stores, departments, or units with a focus on P&L, inventory, operations, and customer service.
    • 5+ years of management experience overseeing a team of 6 or more individuals, providing training, coaching, and demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
    • 3+ years of experience in a customer service-oriented role.
    • Experience in a multi-unit environment, with knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations and financial reporting.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Minimum High School diploma or GED. Note: A college degree in business or a related field may be considered in lieu of part of the required experience.
    Requirements:
    • Valid documentation confirming your identity and eligibility for legal employment in the applicable country.
    • Ability to work full-time with hours often exceeding 40 per week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
