Commonwealth Plywood Co ltd is looking for a Credit Officer to manage receivables of 3 of our Ontario branches

The distribution division offers a complete and innovative range of products for Kitchen & Cabinetmakers, Architects, Designers, and Woodworkers.

We distribute products that meet the demand and industry standards for the manufacturing of kitchen cabinets, furniture, and bathroom vanities.

Our clients range from both the residential and commercial industries.


Our interdivisional system which includes; seven distribution centres, allows us to meet the requirements of our customers throughout Quebec and Ontario.

We are looking at a full-time position as a Credit Officer

  • Minimum salary of $50,000/ per year, based on experience
  • Complete group insurance benefit package

Main Responsibilities
The person would have to oversea credit of our Rexdale/Waterloo and London branch in Ontario

In-Person office is based in Waterloo, Ontario. Visiting Rexdale and London branches to be discussed.

  • Create & Maintain customer accounts, including setting credit limits and terms
  • Call nonpaying clients and negotiate payment agreements
  • Approve various sales orders for credit release
  • Create banking deposits
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Other related customer service tasks

Qualifications and Skills Required:


  • MS Office Suite
  • Minimum 2 years experience in A/R Collections
  • Diploma in Accounting / Business Administration is an asset
  • Strong negotiation & problem solving skills
  • Be organized, positive and dynamic
  • Essential: Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and can multitask
