_CHALLENGES WE OFFER_

This exciting and unique opportunity is to work within Sollio Agriculture's Business Solutions & Networks division, providing marketing support to The Agromart Group.

A network comprised of 22 franchised joint-venture retail locations in Ontario and the Maritimes selling agricultural crop input products. It continues to experience a strong growth and is the industry leader in Eastern Canada.

Reporting to the General Manager

- this position would:

Planning and full coordination for Agricultural Industry Trade Shows and Agromart Network events such as:
Agromart Partners Winter Meeting, Agromart Partners Summer Meeting, various Farm Shows in Ontario, various department training sessions, Growing Innovations Conference, other events as they arise;
Act as communications liaison with Sollio Agriculture Communications Department;
Manage individual Agromart Joint-Venture website development and updates as required;
Oversee individual Agromart Joint-Venture social media strategies and assist local champions with consistent messaging of newsworthy occurrences;
Develop individual marketing plans on an as needed basis for The Agromart Joint-Venture retailers;
Support annual sponsored events (Certified Crop Advisor Association, Ontario Agricultural Conference);
Oversee sourcing of product merchandise and marketing materials;

_YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE_

Have obtained relevant postsecondary education degree or diploma;
Have achieved three to five years of relevant event coordination, and sales & marketing experience;
Have a strong understanding of social media strategies and web site designing;
Valid G license;
Ability to travel for meetings, conferences, tradeshows;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);
Experience in WordPress, Canva, Survey Monkey, and Google My Business management is an asset.
