- Hours will vary and may include evenings and weekends. Invigilators may be trained and certified in order to supervise a variety of exams.
Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):
- Job Duties
Job Duties - Administration of exams including setup of spaces and equipment and taking payments
- Supervise writing of highstakes and other exams and reporting issues of academic misconduct
- Provide assistance to Assessment Leads and Test Centre Clerks in administrative work using technology, including data entry and utilization of Testing Systems (ex. Websites, LockDown browser, reading software, etc.)
- Maintain confidentiality and test security of exam takers
- Maintain a test environment free from distractions
- Emotional intelligence in contributing to a welcoming environment for the students when writing exams in a high stress environment
- Reading/Scribing for equity students
- Participate in required training and followup for the invigilation of specialized exams (including occasional assessment)

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet, Zoom), data entry and keyboarding, and the capacity to learn specialized software
- Attention to detail and observation skills to recognize academic misconduct while invigilating small and large groups
- Demonstrated clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team creating successful working relationships with others
