**Description du poste**:
Sous la supervision du superviseur du support à la production, le technicien travaillera en collaboration avec l'équipe du support à la production à la mise à jour et/ou la correction des produits en réalisant des modélisations 3D, des dessins techniques des corrections de listes de matériel et autres documentations techniques liées aux produits. Il aura dans ses responsabilités de supporter la production et le service à la clientèle aux niveaux des questions techniques.

Il devra identifier et résoudre proactivement les sources potentielles de problématiques pour éviter les arrêts, délais de production ainsi que la création de goulots dans les unités de travail. Il participera à l'entretien et la mise à jour des listes de matériel (BOM) afin de maintenir un grand niveau de qualité dans les informations partagées avec les différents départements.

**Principales responsabilités**:

- Réviser et assurer l'exactitude de l'ensemble de la documentation relative aux produits, incluant les dessins techniques, les listes de matériel (BOM), les fiches techniques, les options des produits et autres.
- Valider que toutes les pièces du BOM sont compatibles, respectent les normes et sont adaptées aux options.
- Répondre à des questions techniques provenant des équipes de vente, du service à la clientèle et de la production.
- Valider la faisabilité de fabrication à toutes les étapes de la chaine de production.
- Collaborer avec les équipes de l'usine pour résoudre les problématiques identifiées.
- Procéder à la correction de la documentation.
- Maintenir à jour en tout temps l'information concernant les produits dans le système informatisé (ERP).
- Documenter les mesures correctives et préventives apportées à la documentation ainsi que les changements apportés aux produits.

**Exigences**:

- Technique en génie mécanique, design industriel, DEP en dessin industriel ou autre domaine connexe
- Expérience 1 à 2 ans dans un poste similaire
- Bilinguisme essentiel (Français et Anglais)
- Maîtrise du logiciel SolidWorks (Intermédiaire à avancer)
- Expérience avec un système ERP
- Maîtrise du logiciel Excel et de la suite Microsoft Office (Intermédiaire à avancer)
- Très bonnes habiletés de communication - Parlé et écrit
- Bonne dextérité pour le travail manuel
- Sensibilité aux détails et soucis de la précision
- Habiletés en résolution de problèmes de compatibilité entre le design et la fabrication
- Autonomie et esprit d'équipe

**Atout**:

- Connaissance de l'industrie des luminaires architecturaux
- Connaissance des normes CSA - UL
- Expérience en usine

**Job description**:
Under the supervision of the production support supervisor, the technician will work in collaboration with the production support team to update and / or correct products by creating 3D models, technical drawings, correcting BOMs and other product documentation. In his responsibilities he will have to support customer service and production teams on technical questions.

He will have to identify and proactively solve the potential sources of problems to avoid stoppages, production delays and the creation of bottlenecks in the work units. He will participate in the correction and update of BOM to maintain a high level of quality in the information that is shared with other departments.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Review and ensure the accuracy of all product documentation, including technical drawings, bill of material (BOM), spec sheets, product options and more.
- Validate that all parts of the BOM are compatible, comply with the standards and are suitable for the options.
- Answers technical questions coming from sales, customer service and production team.
- Validate manufacturing feasibility at all stages of the production chain.
- Collaborate with factory teams and engineering to resolve identified issues.
- Correct the documentation.
- Always maintain the latest information about the products in the system (ERP).
- Document corrective and preventive actions related to documentation and product changes.

**Requirements and skills**:

- Technical collegial diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial design, DEP industrial drafting or other related fields.
- Experience 1 to 2 years in a similar position
