The Opportunity


Responsibilities:


  • Provide responsive and highquality technical support to Royal Distributing employees
  • Track all issues by utilizing a ticketing system
  • Maintain and further develop system documentation and ensure accuracy of documentation
  • Help implement and follow procedures to ensure data security
  • Complete repairs and maintenance for IT equipment
  • Analyze trends to identify problems within current software and practices
  • Identify and resolve current or anticipated software issues
  • Suggest efficiencies in processes by proactively exploring alternative methods
  • Attend team meetings to review project progress and collaborate on current assignments
  • Maintain existing systems and software to prevent anticipated issues

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team player that works effectively in both an independent and collaborative setting
  • Experience with a ticketing system is an asset
Additional Information

  • The role reports to the Chief Technology Officer
  • The role is based out of our Woodlawn location in Guelph, Ontario
  • This is a fulltime opportunity with additional overtime as required
  • This role requires you to participate in an "Emergency On-Call" rotation with other IT staff members in order to adequately cover the hours of the business (7am to 10pm). There is remuneration for being on call and hourly remuneration for time spent after hours.
