Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, usability, and security.
Identify, document, and track software defects and anomalies, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed, and new features are integrated seamlessly.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide input from a quality perspective.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that might not be covered by existing test cases.
Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and documentation standards.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 3 to 5 years of related work experience
Proven experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with test management tools and issue tracking systems.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
Solid analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Strong selfmotivation and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting for test automation.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
