We are currently seeking a Yard Hand to join our team. As a Yard Hand, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation.

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate machinery such as forklifts and farm tractors.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment
  • Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and farm tractors
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the yard area
  • Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
  • Assist with order picking and preparing shipments
  • Grass Cuttting and yard maintenance
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a teamoriented environment

Skills:


  • Build: Experience in constructing or assembling structures or equipment.
  • Warehouse distribution: Knowledge of processes involved in the movement of goods within a warehouse.
  • Warehouse management system: Familiarity with software systems used to manage warehouse operations.
  • Warehouse: Understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects or materials.
  • Heavy equipment operation: Proficiency in operating machinery such as forklifts and farm tractors.
  • Load unload: Skill in loading and unloading materials onto trucks or other transportation vehicles.
  • Farm taractor: Experience operating tractors for lifting heavy objects.
  • Forklift: Proficiency in operating forklifts for moving materials within a warehouse.
  • Order picking: Ability to accurately select and gather items from warehouse inventory for order fulfillment.
  • Driving pickup trucks to transport trailer between locations

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
