We are seeking a
Service Loader who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction. Dutch Brothers is part of the John Aarts Group responsible for the ready-mix concrete plant.

Environment
While operating a wheel loader you will be working at the most sophisticated batch plant in this area. Operating may occur in all types of weather conditions and there is a varying degree of physical labour required. Ability to work a variable start/stop shift according to production schedule.

How you will make an IMPACT

Operate Wheel Loader effectively and efficiently
Receive, stockpile, and assist with coordination of incoming aggregates
Load feeder bin according to products required, manage material storage bins and grade haulage routes
Maintain equipment grease, fluids, standard upkeep
Report damaged or faulty equipment to management
Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Feeder and elevating conveyor operation and maintenance
Keep processing area clean and in order
Form pads and strip/maintain boxes for returned concrete
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation as required
Other duties as assigned

How you WOW us

13 years related experience preferred
Product and industry knowledge is an asset
Valid G Driver's License with clean abstract
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
Ability to keep accurate records
Basic Computers skills
Reliable and punctual
Strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
