We are seeking a
Service Loader who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction. Dutch Brothers is part of the John Aarts Group responsible for the ready-mix concrete plant.


Environment
While operating a wheel loader you will be working at the most sophisticated batch plant in this area. Operating may occur in all types of weather conditions and there is a varying degree of physical labour required. Ability to work a variable start/stop shift according to production schedule.


How you will make an IMPACT

  • Operate Wheel Loader effectively and efficiently
  • Receive, stockpile, and assist with coordination of incoming aggregates
  • Load feeder bin according to products required, manage material storage bins and grade haulage routes
  • Maintain equipment grease, fluids, standard upkeep
  • Report damaged or faulty equipment to management
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Feeder and elevating conveyor operation and maintenance
  • Keep processing area clean and in order
  • Form pads and strip/maintain boxes for returned concrete
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
  • Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation as required
  • Other duties as assigned

How you WOW us

  • 13 years related experience preferred
  • Product and industry knowledge is an asset
  • Valid G Driver's License with clean abstract
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to keep accurate records
  • Basic Computers skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
