Marketing Coordinator - St. Jacobs, Canada - Zehr Group
Description
We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team, based out of our St. Jacob's office.Reporting to the Manager, Sales, and Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of Zehr Group's marketing strategies.
The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with other team members, internal departments, external agencies, and suppliers to assist in the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY - TASK DESCRIPTION
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
- Assist team members and other departments with marketing tasks and develop, coordinate, and execute marketing projects, initiatives, and activities
- Assist with and provide input to the development of the marketing strategy and budget
- Manage the inventory of marketing collateral and promotional items
- Communicate with Marketing Agencies to have artwork created (signage, community materials, etc.)
- Communicate final draft marketing materials to leadership
- Conduct research on new products and vendors
- Update and maintain the accuracy of tracking tools and help create manuals
- Proofread design files to ensure accuracy and quality
- Work with partners and internal team to manage site signage installation and upkeep
- Help design and maintain company and project social media strategy
- Monitors social media pages, engaging with followers and ensuring adherence to community standards
- Assists in the tracking and measuring of analytics, creating reports as required
BRAND SUPPORT
- Assist with ZG overall branding and ongoing brand development initiatives
- Organize the production of branded items such as stationery, merchandise, and promotional items
- Serve as a brand ambassador at companysponsored events
- Continually enhance the brand through the creation and coordination of the Zehr Group social media campaign
PRESENTATION CENTRES AND EVENTS
- Coordination of Presentation Centre(s) and manage requests from the sales department
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain print quotations, make recommendations on materials, transfer files, approve proofs and arrange for timely delivery
- Maintaining budget and billing coordination for all project marketingrelated expenses.
- The requirement to be onsite directing installers, trades, and vendors to achieve project vision
- Coordinate and assist in the execution of special events and sponsored events (ie. Grand Opening events)
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or Visual Arts/Design
- 2 years of relevant experience, including organizing events
- Extensive knowledge of communication methodologies, techniques, and tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and contemporary design/marketing software
- Strong copywriting abilities
- Superior organizational skills and an ability to pay meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, attention to detail, or quality
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
