We are looking for a talented, skilled, and experienced QA Manager to join our team at our Montreal office. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you are solution focused and believe that QA is far more than just testing.

You will lead the establishment of QA best practices, and drive the processes and tools needed to ensure quality objectives are met, from the first conception and design doc to the last release checklist.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of QA specialists, mentoring and leading them towards success and career progression.

Responsibilities_

Own all aspects of Quality Assurance in the Functional service line
Define QA processes and identify necessary tools and technology
Forecast a staffing plan and overall test strategy
Be the internal advocate and spokesperson for all things QA
Clearly communicate issues, risks, concerns, and successes to stakeholders
Work with internal stakeholders to finalize test plans
Facilitate communication with other managers
Represent QA interests to the management group
Work closely with team members in a collaborative, agile and small team environment
Train and mentor Project Managers in their roles
Maintain tools used by the department
Communicate with clients and manage partnerships

Qualifications / Education_

8+ years experience in the QA profession, 3+ years in the games industry
4+ years experience in managing teams
Knowledgeable about a variety of testing methodologies, including but not limited to, compatibility testing, performance testing, user experience, regression, and acceptance testing
Previous experience managing bug defect solutions & driving the creation of test plans
Excellent communication skills English & French (written and verbal)
Passionate for (and interested in) games

- both playing and building

Salary:
$38,222.82-$109,136.64 per year
