The Position:

Forklift Operator_

Forklift Operator is responsible for the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from and establishment. Forklift Operator generally operates material handling equipment - forklift to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Main Duties:

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Perform tasks strictly in compliance with all Safety & Health requirements.
Operate material handling equipment forklift by following operating instructions.
Perform work tasks in compliance with the instruction from their Manager or Operations Manager.
Maintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handled.
Retrieving and assembling products form designated storage location to fill required work order to the proper work station.
Loading products for shipping purposes.
Unloading received materials and placing them in appropriate location.
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
Submit daily reports on all material movement.
Perform routine visual and operational inspection on the equipment used, safety devices/guards and making sure they are in good order.
Reporting any problems to their Manager or Operations Manager (such any inventory discrepancies).
Responsible for warehouse maintenance and housekeeping by cleaning and organizing the area.
Any other duties which may be assigned by their Manager/Supervisor.
