We're currently looking for a

Media Research Analyst to join the team. The ideal person for this role is an enthusiastic data cruncher, Excel whiz, with strong data visualization and storytelling techniques to successfully convey actionable insights to clients in the Communications and Media industry. Cision provides a variety of services to clients, including daily news briefings, recurring monthly/quarterly reports, as well as one-off, ad-hoc reports.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute on ondemand and ongoing media services requests (clip books, coverage reports, research and analysis, etc.)
Monitor client performance, conduct data analysis as stipulated throughout each reporting period (weekly quarterly)
Provide ongoing quality control to ensure operational efficiency and use of industryleading practices for client administration including but not limited to the following: creation of engaging charts and graphics to highlight performance, delivery of comprehensive, accurate and highquality reports, manage maintenance of client profile and guidelines
Participate in training activities as required on a monthly and quarterly basis

Qualifications:

Fluency in French and English, written and oral is required
Experience in Communications, Media or Public Relations or a related education.
Working knowledge of MS Office Outlook and Teams
Deep knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ideally 12 years combined working in the communications, media analysis, or research analysis field
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong data visualization and storytelling skills
Indepth knowledge of current trends, practices and techniques in media analysis in both traditional and modern media formats, i.e., print, broadcast and online, including social media.
Readily adapts to new technology, tools and systems. Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
Advanced listening and verbal communication skills to understand client requirements and responds clearly and concisely
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask several requests
