The Niverville Heritage Centre is a community focused campus providing seniors housing and other services to serve them and the Community at large.

With a commitment to excellence and compassion, we strive to create vibrant, safe, and supportive environments where seniors and guests and visitors come together in our Events Centre and other venues, such as the Hespeler's Cookhouse and Tavern.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with the planning, preparation, and organization of events.
  • Supervising serving staff during the event and provide coaching and mentoring as needed
  • Coordinating with different teams within the Centre to provide an exceptional experience.
  • Answering questions and addressing concerns of guests and clients to ensure a satisfactory outcome.
  • Communicate concerns or provide feedback to the Event Manager.
  • Coordinating different teams and ensuring they all work together harmoniously.
  • Ensuring that the event space is clean prior to and after the event.
  • Required to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in supervising, and event hosting and serving roles
  • Loyal and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in the hospitality or customer service sector.
  • A diploma in hospitality or similar is preferable.
  • Excellent management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid Smart Choices Certification
