Basic Job Functions:

Preparing product batches by following written instructions on batch sheets.
Gathering, weighing, and pouring raw materials into batch tanks according to formulation specifications.
Conduct inprocess testing on finished products, such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity.
Conduct visual inspections of tanks and ensure they are washed and cleaned ahead of product transfer.
Work in a safe manner while wearing all required personal protective equipment and ensuring deadlines are met

Have basic knowledge of chemistry and chemical processes

Keep your work area tidy and organized, and free of trips and other hazards
Ensure all documentation required during the production process is filled out as required by QA/Regulatory procedures.
Following Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and observing good housekeeping.
General maintenance as required.
Other duties as assigned by the Lead hands/ supervisors or management

Requirements:

High school or equivalent education level
Ability to work in an environment that includes standing, lifting, bending, and walking
Strong mathematical ability and attention to detail
Computer knowledge, measurements, and problemsolving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for batch making process
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to reach production schedule under deadlines
Adherence to company policies, values, and health & safety procedures
WHIMS and TDG knowledge an asset

Experience:

General Labor: 1 year (preferred)
