EMPLOYMENT GUIDE:
- Diploma or degree in social sciences, RPN diploma or educational equivalent, with at least three years related experience in health and social services environment, or related experience required.
- Previous experience working in a 24/7 environment and/or with people with disabilities.
- Experience in providing direct care to seniors and/or people with disabilities an asset.
- Ability to act as a role model and influence others; foster effective team work; and lead by example are essential for this position.
- Superior problemsolving skills, ability to multitask interact with a diverse range of people is essential for this position.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and data base management and have solid analytical and report writing skills.
- Prior knowledge of the Ontario health care system, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA); Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA); and Employment Standards an asset for this position.
- Must be highly skilled at communicating in English (both verbally and in writing).
- Must possess a valid driving licence and reliable vehicle.
