SAP Administrator Human Resources - Support Services

Temporary Position - Effective Immediately to December 20, 2024

Exempt 2A - $ $34.23 hourly rate

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Academic Services Specialist, the SAP Administrator Human Resources-Support Services updates and maintains employee information for Education Workers and Para-Professional Staff, for assigned schools used to produce bi-weekly payroll.

Major Responsibilities:

Review, enter and validate employee data into SAP for assigned staff as indicated on Staff Adjustment Forms in compliance with Board policies and collective agreements.

Verify and calculate salary adjustments as required related to leaves of absence, allowances, return to work, salary rate changes and long term disability.

Prepare and distribute various employee letters where changes and/or updates to status have occurred.

Manually adjust sick quotas as per the collective agreements.

Process timesheets.

Verify and calculate overpayments and produce letters accordingly.

Monitor and maintain various lists based on assigned staff and produce reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

High School plus Human Resources or payroll related courses of up to one year.

1-2 years of previous work experience in a Human Resources or Payroll department.

Proficient knowledge of SAP.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.

Superb organizational and time management skills.

Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
