We are looking to welcome a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our Admin team. Someone who is highly personable, proactive, confident, and engaging with great conversational skills.

The receptionist is the first point of contact for our company, you must also be dedicated to providing customers with winning service.

Having the ability to multitask and
a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment are an asset.

Established in 1982, Great Little Box Company is a family-owned and operated leading manufacturer of Labels, Corrugated Boxes & Displays, Folding Cartons, KBA, Digital Packaging, Protective Packaging, and the distribution of Shipping Supplies.

Our courtesy shuttle bus provides transportation to many of our shifts.

**Core Responsibilities: -
Reception Tasks

  • Greeting of visitors and other staff with a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
  • Collecting, sorting and distributing mail, messages and arrange courier deliveries.
  • Ensure all reception tasks are taken care of in an organized and timely manner.
  • Assist Accounts Payable with cheque coding.
  • Other reception duties as assigned.

Administrative Assistant Tasks

  • Sorting and scanning waybills on Office 36
  • Sending flowers and gifts on special occasions to employees as directed by their manager.
  • Assisting employees with travel arrangements.
  • Assisting with organizing company events including ordering food and supplies.
  • Taking meeting notes in social committee meetings and share with everyone as required.
  • Other admin tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • 1+ years of administrative experience
  • Effective multitasking ability paired with a passion for organization
  • Drive to problem solve in a strategic and efficient manner to accomplish obstacles on hand
  • Thrives in a true balancing priority environment and holds strong interpersonal skills
  • Attentiveness to details with a strong technical aptitude and enthusiastic to be selfmotivated

The People:


  • Reports to the Director of People & Culture
  • Provides a warm and welcoming first impression of the Great Little Box Company to internal employees and external visitors.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal teams to provide Administrative Support
