Human Resources Generalist - Full-Time Barrie (and surrounding communities), Ontario

The Human Resources Generalist provides support to our people and coordinates all human resource programs, including recruiting, onboarding, coordination of training and employee relations, as well maintain our human resources information system.

This position will report to and support the Manager of Human Resources.


Education:


Graduate of post-secondary program in Human Resources Management, with 3-5 years' experience across all human resources functions or similar related experience as a generalist in human resources department.


Competencies:


  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, high degree of discretion and confidentiality with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and employee service skills, ability to develop meaningful relationships.
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset or related system for HRIS/Pay system, and experienced with payroll support or knowledge of payroll processes is a definite asset.
