The Training Coordinator's main responsibilities include: identifying training needs, designing training plans and materials, managing required documentation (SOP, Work Instructions (WI), evaluation, training guide, etc.). He/she is responsible for training follow-up and updating training follow-up tools.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Identify annual and sporadic training needs with area managers and supervisors
- Build an annual training plan
- Coordinate training with the annual SOP-GMP and SST calendar to ensure compliance
- Design needsbased training programs and materials, including training plan, training guides and competency assessment plans
- Develop trainer competencies
- Train and qualify trainers to roll out SOP content, work instructions (IT) and jobsspecific training courses
- Provide trainers with the necessary documentation to train on POs, ITs or other training material, assess training satisfaction, evaluate and certify qualifications.
- Plan and monitor training deployment with supervisors to meet deadlines
- Maintain performance indicators for the overall training management process
- Validate learning transfer with supervisors
- Ensure that information on training sheets is complete as required
- Support and assist other members of the training committee as required
- Update training documents in Intelex
- Provide documentation for audits
- Enter training data into Intelex for our 1% obligation and file training documents in the right place
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or relevant training
- Knowledge of andragogy principles
- Knowledge of good training practices
- Willingness to work all shifts and some nights as required
- Experience in developing training materials using various technologies
- Knowledge of LMS and other training management systems (an asset)
- Bilingualism essential, both written and spoken (French and English)
- Proficiency in Windows/MS Office environment
