The role of
Talent Acquisition Manager involves overseeing a team of 8 advisors, integrated with the Human Resources Business Partners team.

Working closely with the 3 other managers of the Touring Shows, Fixed Shows and Corporate Units divisions, and with the Senior Talent Director, he/she is responsible for recruitment strategies tailored to our needs, and for implementing efficient processes.

This is a new position in the organization, and in addition to your pioneering qualities, we want your proven know-how to lead you to:

  • Provide positive leadership to develop and maintain a high level of competence and excellence in a motivating and stimulating environment for the team and internal customers;
  • Contribute, with the other Talent Managers, to meeting operational and strategic ambitions by putting forward the expertise of the Talent Acquisition team, while identifying areas of interconnection and collaboration;
  • Ensure the excellent execution of each talent acquisition initiative, from our presence at events to the proper handling of each position to be filled;
  • Monitor recruitment, sourcing and hiring processes and procedures with a view to continuous improvement and adaptation to our different business realities;
  • Continue to build a strong employer brand and, above all, amplify our employer reputation with certain targeted external pools;
  • And above all, work directly with the leaders of our divisions and corporate units, as we need their expertise to access most of our local and international recruitment pools.

  • Lead, train and evaluate our team of talent acquisition advisors and our traffic advisor.
  • Oversee all stages of the recruiting process, from requirement intake to hiring, and harmonize procedures.
  • Play an active advisory role with managers to develop their recruitment leadership skills.
  • Implement new internal recruitment processes and, in collaboration with other managers, develop appropriate and compliant internal mobility processes.
  • Develop knowledge and use of a variety of indicators and dashboards to increase the impact of recruitment roadmaps.
  • Promote proper planning of short, medium
- and long-term talent needs by mastering recruitment indicators and understanding Cirque's growth plans.

  • Ensure the development and maintenance of pipelines for certain professions and key positions within the company.
  • Be able to adapt its approach, tactics and methods to strategic and corporate recruitment needs, as well as to operational requirements, bearing in mind that 70% of the positions to be filled are technical positions that are a priority for the smooth running of our show operations.
  • Promote the harmonious integration of diversity and equity at all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Deploy innovative and transparent practices for our internal clients in terms of employer branding, attraction, recruitment and diversity to enable Cirque to stand out.
  • Demonstrate international recruitment skills yes, our playground for certain roles in some of our divisions is the entire planet
  • Manage our partnerships with universities/high schools, job boards and software providers.
  • Participate in and organize recruitment events to raise awareness of our company and our needs.
  • Implement initiatives to maintain the right level of confidentiality for each role to fill.

Requirements:


  • Degree in human resources or related field;
  • At least 3 years' professional experience as a manager, leader or talent acquisition director;
  • Experience in recruitment, staffing/talent acquisition in the manufacturing or construction industry an asset;
  • Fluent in both French and English;
  • Experience in recruitment for the live entertainment industry, an asset;
  • Proven experience in managing the entire recruitment cycle and employer branding projects;
  • Excellent understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks);
  • Practical experience of ATS and related systems;
  • Inspirational team leadership skills;
