The National Sales Manager (NSM) position is focused on the mentorship, development, and growth of the daily activities for the BSC/Retail team in Canada.

The primary responsibility of the NSM - is to lead the BSC/Retail team on the development and growth of the team in line with our annual targets and expectations.

Utilizing our core Sector Customer Value Propositions and relationships to realize significant profitable value for Diversey while ensuring strong Customer value and partnership.

This role will be responsible for leading the BSC/Retail team to identify, prospect, and secure new BSC/Retail business in the Canadian market.

The NSM must comfortably interface internally with key department stakeholders as well as key decision-makers within the customer accounts along with building new customer relationships.

This role will also be responsible for overseeing and driving growth within existing new key strategic partners.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • BSC/Retail team lead

  • Mentorship position to elevate the skill and development planning for the team
  • Hold monthly 1

1 sessions with the BSC/Retail KAMs

  • Assist in the development of the BSC/Retail team growth strategy
  • Participate in team development planning
  • Business Continuity & Development

  • Key contact for existing and new Corporate and Global accounts
  • Support and guidance to the team on new RFP and business development opportunities and needs
  • Understands sector/industry trends and challenges and can position the BSC/Retail team and Diversey as a strategic partner focused on longterm growth
  • Develop and execute nationalscale implementation strategies or rollouts
  • Collaboration

  • Key communication point for Diversey Sector and Regional leadership
  • Host key internal team initiatives
  • Participate in biweekly, monthly, and quarterly key customer updates and MBR meetings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in managing sector teams
  • 5+ years of experience in the BSC/Retail industry
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Demonstrated hunter mentality
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate plans into actions
  • Chemical sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate at the national level of organizations, along with the ability to sell at the operational level.
