About the Role:


As the Manager of Vendor Accounting in Accounts Payable at TD SYNNEX, you lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting systems, covering Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, and Cash Flows, aligning with TD SYNNEX's policies.

Design operational procedures to ensure adherence to audit standards, enhancing efficiency.

Your role involves integrating data into systems, supporting financial analysts' objectives, and overseeing the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data and revenue.

Additionally, you actively participate in annual audits, manage special projects, and collaborate with external consultants or auditors.

People management is a crucial aspect, involving the selection, development, and evaluation of personnel to ensure optimal function efficiency within TD SYNNEX.


What You'll do:


  • Lead and manage all finance transaction activities.
  • Develop and oversee accounting functions, implementing controls for risk mitigation and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Supervise special financial reporting and the implementation of new financial systems and procedures.
  • Mentor and develop staff and supervisors within the finance/accounting team.
  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Contribute to budget development and assist with reconciliation processes.
  • Define and implement new financial systems and processes for Finance and Accounting Operations.
  • Cultivate a customer servicefocused environment to support internal customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group and across departments.
  • Collaborate with IT to manage system changes and mitigate associated risks.
  • Manage all departmental resources effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, meeting attendance and punctuality standards.

What We're Looking For:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Approximately 310 years in Accounting or Finance, with 12 years in a management role
  • Strong financial understanding and decisionmaking abilities
  • Ability to initiate projects, set timelines, and address complex issues
  • Experience managing team members with similar tasks, potentially including exempt and/or nonexempt team members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates adaptability to change
  • Consistently makes highquality decisions
  • Exhibits professionalism in all aspects
  • Proficient in hiring, developing, and retaining talent
  • Effectively handles employee relations issues
  • Demonstrates a high level of "selfstarting" thinking for analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and drawing conclusions/solutions
