Job Details:


  • Utilize the TMS system for all related order management and processing functions.
  • Utilize RF scannerbased system.
  • Maintain all paperwork and records of each shipment.
  • Prepare outgoing orders; create shipping labels, create BOL and related paperwork, provide tracking when applicable.
  • Investigate customer orders and orderrelated queries.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers; by expediting service, answering queries, resolving conflicts and delighting customers continually.
  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Accounting to ensure rush orders are processed immediately.
  • Work closely with Receiving, Quality Control, and Purchasing to ensure timely receipt, accuracy of product, and prompt accessibility of product to customer.
  • Contribute ideas willingly towards continuous improvement.
  • A clear understanding of Transportation Management Systems.
  • Work with other staff to ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, prioritized and staged, with emphasis on accuracy.
  • Work with other staff to ensure that product identity is maintained at all times.
  • Assist with coordinating all daily warehouse functions with Warehouse Coordinators and Supervisors.
  • Ability to work independently and excellent attendance will determine success in this role.
  • Required to adhere shipping labels to parcels as Operation requires.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety policies.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor.
  • In the Manager's absence, acts as supervisor of the department.
  • All other duties assigned as operation requires.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A minimum of 3 years experience completing Customs documentation both international and US.
  • Must have computer knowledge at the advanced level.
  • Strong office/administration skills; Microsoft office, WMS, TMS, customs document processing.
  • Excellent customer service background.
  • Previous dispatch, warehouse, logistics, supply chain or business administration experience.
  • This person will have strong teamwork qualities, engaging with the warehouse and customer service teams on a routine basis.
  • Forklift License/driving experience (an asset).
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly (70lbs) (an asset).

  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a Strong Team Atmosphere.
  • Possesses good organizational skills; data and time management.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn.
  • Regular attendance determines the success of this role.
  • Preference will be given to those who have filled leadership/lead Hand positions previously.
