Instructor - Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance - North York, Canada - AAPS
Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide support, direction and coaching to students.
- Manage daily teaching and training Review and update curriculum as necessary.
- Provide practical guidance and handson training to the students on various clinical research and drug safety, GCP, and Clinical Trials.
- Provide handson training and guidance to the students on SOP development, study protocols.
- Mentor and guide students in their job search and career development.
- Follow AAPS company's standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.
- Participate in longrange planning and budgeting processes.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements:
- Permanent residency and/or Canadian citizenship
- Minimum B.Sc. degree with equivalent experience, M.Sc. is preferred
- Minimum 5 years Canadian working experience in a clinical research environment
- Experience in relevant scientific and technical principles required for clinical research and drug safety
- Must have sound communication and writing skills
- Detail oriented and strong decision making, problem solving capability is required
- Prior teaching and/or training experience is an asset
