AtkinsRéalis' Major Projects division is in search of a
Quality Inspector - Structural / Rail to join the East Harbour Transit Hub Alliance project team in
Toronto. The
Quality Inspector will be part of a high-performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.

Your role within the team:

Work with the team to conduct quality inspections on materials and construction activities as detailed in the relevant ITP's and ensure all completed work is in conformance with the project requirements.
Assist the construction and quality managers in the preparation of inspection and test plans (ITP's) for all the constructions activities.
Prepare quality report summaries which track status of all inspections and tests and ensure that all noncomforting product, activity or procedure is recorded in the nonconformity report (NCR) and make any necessary recommendations for improvement.
Assist the team in the resolution of NCR's in a timely manner and ensure that the corrective actions have been implemented effectively.
Implement stop work orders when materials, works or processes are deficient.
Ensure that construction teams are using the latest revision of drawings in coordination with document control.
Provide ongoing quality system training and support aimed to the implementation of the quality management procedures and processes by project personnel.

Postsecondary education in construction, engineering or technician and significant quality control and assurance experience or an equivalent combination of experience and technical training.
Minimum 35 years of experience in a related project quality role in a construction environment.
