About the role
The Technical Writing Associate will deliver on technical documentation and manage change controls for the R&D department.

Tasks may include working on labeling material, using tools such as Bartender, Illustrator and Excel, and working alongside SMEs in our R&D and Quality Engineering departments.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Manage and prioritize product change requests and engineering change orders to update existing documentation.
  • Work within an electronic Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Quality Engineering SMEs.
  • Adhere to and promote the adherence to all Corporate, Quality and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as required.

Required qualifications:


  • Actively working towards a degree in Engineering, Science or Technical Writing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:


  • Demonstrated competence as a Technical Writer or Engineer through previous coops and course projects
  • Previous experience working with eQMS
  • Experience in document control, preferably in an ISO environment
  • Ability to quickly understand workflow and suggest improvements
