Description
Reporting to the Process Safety Engineer, this role is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for dust layer accumulated does not exceed 3/32 inch anywhere in the facility
  • Ensure all the metal totes feeding the extruders, totes under the mixers and blenders are always grounded to avoid static
  • Inspect filter socks on shredders granulated and mills to ensure they are not clogged, punctured or under excessive pressure
  • Washing, scrubbing, vacuuming, sweeping as needed on production equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, windows
  • Removal of garbage/scrap from production departments
  • Assist in departmental spills and clean ups in production
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment, immediate work areas, departments

Qualifications

  • Able to work independently, is a selfstarter and takes pride in a job well done
  • Proven ability to work efficiently with good time management
  • Previous experience working in environments that are extremely dirty and extremely hot
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs, work with industrial strength cleaners, and climb stairs with equipment and supplies
  • Should be mechanically inclined
  • Able to adapt and adjust to a changing work environment and changing job tasks
ability to follow instructions

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (ideally suited for someone who has worked in Asbestos Removal; Industrial Painting; Sandblasting; Steel Mill)
  • Attention to detail and organized

Shifts:


  • 8 hours
  • Day Shift 8am 4:30 pm
