Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team.

As a Journeyperson Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks in the construction and maintenance of buildings and structures.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay.


Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction drawings
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand tools and power tools
  • Install windows, doors, cabinets, countertops, flooring, and other carpentry components
  • Build concrete forms for pouring foundations, slabs, and walls
  • Perform masonry work such as bricklaying and blocklaying
  • Install siding, roofing materials, and insulation
  • Repair or replace damaged or defective carpentry parts
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in construction painting, blueprint reading, concrete forming, flooring installation, masonry work, and other carpentry skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work
  • Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Completion of CSTS, First Aid, Confined Space, Fall Protection, H2S
